Applications for the award-winning Women Deliver Young Leaders Program are now open!
As you may know, the Women Deliver Young Leaders Program connects passionate young advocates with the platforms, the people, and the resources to amplify their influence to advance gender equality. To date, the program has supported 700 young advocates from 138 countries who are on the front lines of advancing gender equality and the health and rights of girls and women.
This year, Women Deliver will select 300 young advocates who are taking a stand for gender equality and drive positive change in their communities, countries, and around the world. We are accepting applications from 3 February to 13 March 2020 and welcome applicants between the ages of 15-28 from diverse backgrounds and all levels of experience. MORE

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
At-a-Glance
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program provides scholarships to U.S. undergraduates with financial need for study abroad, including students from diverse backgrounds and students going to non-traditional study abroad destinations. Established under the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000, Gilman Scholarships provide up to $5,000 for American students to pursue overseas study for college credit.
Critical Need Languages
Students studying critical need languages are eligible for up to $3,000 in additional funding as part of the Gilman Critical Need Language Supplement program. Those critical need languages include:

Eligibility Requirements
The Obama Foundation Scholars Program at Columbia University seeks rising leaders from around the world who meet the following criteria:
- Have a proven commitment to service and leadership within a community, region or country outside the United States, coupled with a demonstrated commitment to return to these communities following their completion of the program and apply their enhanced training, skills and connections on a long-term basis for the benefit of these communities
- Are emerging leaders who have made meaningful contributions to their field and are now at a “tipping point” in their careers
- Are fluent in English (verbal, written and spoken)
- Have the ability and inclination to positively shape the future of their community
- Have a demonstrated commitment to humility, integrity, inclusivity, stewardship, fearlessness, imagination and teamwork

ICRW is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 Mariam K. Chamberlain Award, which honors the legacy of Dr. Mariam K. Chamberlain, a visionary who founded Re:Gender – formerly the National Council for Research on Women – in 1981. The $10,000 award will support a first-generation doctoral student, as they work on a dissertation under the close supervision of a senior dissertation advisor over one academic year. Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program
The Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program (CADFP) is a scholar fellowship program for educational projects at African higher education institutions. Offered by IIE in collaboration with the United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa), the program is funded by a grant from Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY). Over the past four years, the program has funded 274 Fellowships at 102 African universities. The program exemplifies CCNY’s enduring commitment to higher education in Africa. IIE manages and administers the program, including applications, project requests and fellowships. USIU-Africa provides strategic direction through the Advisory Council. MORE
